Mount Fuji is Japan’s tallest and most iconic mountain. Located in the border of Yamanashi and Shizuoka prefectures, it remains largely dormant, but is still suprisingly active, having last erupted in 1707. The picture perfectly captures the dazzling beauty of the peak at sunset, showing the snow-capped summit interspersed with a dazzling orange glow.
