The Battle of Scarif was a major conflict occurring during the Galactic Civil War between the Rebel Alliance and the Galactic Empire. The battle was fought on the tropical planet of Scarif, and was principally supported by the Rebel Alliance's Rogue One squad led by Jyn Erso and Cassian Andor. The battle resulted in a victory for the Rebel Alliance, providing the Alliance access to the secret plans of the Galactic Empire's new planet-destroying super weapon, the Death Star.
