Source requirements
- 1024×1024 PNG. Square. Transparent or coloured background.
- No rounded corners. iOS rounds them at runtime; Android does its own thing. Square source.
- Important content within the inner 80%. Some platforms crop to a circle or rounded square — keep the visual centred.
- Vector source preferred. If you have an SVG, export at 1024 from a design tool to avoid resampling.
Adaptive icons
Android 8+ adaptive icons need a foreground (transparent) and a background layer. We split your source automatically, but for best results provide them separately. Alternatively, use solid foreground and let us compose with a colour picker.

Adaptive icons — what's a foreground/background split?
Android 8+ wants two layers. Foreground is the logo (transparent background); background is a solid colour or pattern. We auto-split or you can upload both.
Does it generate the .icns and .ico?

What if my source isn't 1024×1024?
We accept any square PNG, but quality is best from the recommended 1024 (or higher).
