Sasuke Uchiha is a genius ninja from the fictional village of Konohagakure in the Naruto anime series. He is introduced as a rival to the main protagonist Naruto Uzumaki and the two start out as enemies at the beginning of the series. Sasuke is a prodigy of the Uchiha clan, recognised as its strongest member, and his prowess is praised by all. He is known for his prodigious Sharingan which allows him to copy opponents Jutsu, predict their movements and cast illusions. Despite being once consumed by hatred, Sasuke strives to become Hokage, the leader of Konohagakure.
