Pont Neuf is a historical bridge over the River Seine, built between 1578 and 1607, and is the oldest standing bridge in Paris. Spanning 945 feet and featuring a row of squared-off stone houses along its bridge length, the bridge was modernised in the 1930s, with the houses demolished to accommodate a wider bridge. Pont Neuf is now a popular tourist attraction in Paris, and has been used in many movies as a backdrop for filming.
